Working with Blume Educational Consulting has been an incredible professional learning experience for both new and experienced special education staff. Suzanne’s trainings are practical, engaging, and rooted in real-world experience. From ARD 101 to From FIE to the ARD Table and PWN training, she has a way of breaking down complex special education processes into clear, understandable steps that teams can confidently apply immediately.

As a diagnostician, I especially appreciated her guidance, mentorship, and support in helping staff strengthen their understanding of evaluations, compliance, collaboration, and effective communication.

Her professional development sessions not only build knowledge, but also empower educators to feel more confident in their roles and decision-making. Suzanne’s passion for supporting students and training educators is evident in every session she leads.

As a general education teacher, special education meetings and paperwork could sometimes feel overwhelming with all of the terminology, acronyms, and legal language. Working with Blume Educational Consulting gave me the confidence and understanding I needed to better support my students with disabilities in the classroom.

Suzanne took the time to explain things in a way that actually made sense and provided practical guidance I could immediately apply with my SPED students. Her knowledge, professionalism, and ability to bridge the gap between general education and special education have been incredibly valuable. I now feel more prepared, informed, and supported as a teacher because of Blume Educational Consulting.

I have had the pleasure of collaborating with and utilizing Blume Ed Consulting as an informational and advocacy resource for families navigating educational, behavioral, and special education needs. Suzanne Blume has been wonderful to work with and an invaluable source of knowledge concerning how churches and communities can better understand and support families of children with special needs in both public education and church life.

There is a growing need for churches to become more intentional in how we minister to and assist families with special needs children. Suzanne has helped broaden our understanding of how the church can respond with compassion, awareness, and practical support. Her guidance has reinforced the importance of partnering with families not only spiritually, but also educationally and emotionally as they navigate complex systems and challenges.

Blume Ed Consulting provides meaningful advocacy and guidance related to public education, ARD processes, behavioral support, and educational planning. This type of support helps ensure that churches are doing all they can within their resources to nurture and strengthen families holistically as we seek to raise godly children in a world that is not always aligned with godly values.

Suzanne Blume is an exceptional resource with a wealth of knowledge, experience, and genuine care for families and children.

I attended a speaking engagement where Suzanne presented, and she was both dynamic and highly informative. Her presentation was practical, relatable, and grounded in real-world application rather than just theory or “fluff.” She provided valuable resources and incorporated an interactive game to check for understanding and keep the audience engaged. I found the entire one-hour session to be excellent and extremely worthwhile.

— Mrs. King, Katy ISD,

We hired Suzanne to assist us with our son’s Section 504 plan, and her guidance made a tremendous difference for our family. She helped us advocate for a full evaluation, which ultimately led to our son qualifying for an IEP. Since then, he has truly prospered, and Suzanne’s continued support throughout the process has been invaluable.

Her background as both a teacher and educational leader gave her a deep understanding of the school system and how to effectively collaborate with campus staff. Our principal was so impressed that they even stated, “You can bring her anytime to our ARD meetings.” We highly recommend Suzanne to any family needing support navigating special education services.

— Mrs. King, Katy ISD,

Suzanne assisted me in my classroom set up. She was awesome with anticipating my students' future needs gave me resources, helped me find funding and had all the student files set up and ready to go for when the students return. I was so happy to have the organization ready and can't wait to have her come back in December to see how the school year has progressed.
