Understanding Section 504

Section 504 ensures that students with disabilities have equal access to education. When a disability impacts a major life activity—such as learning, concentrating, walking, seeing, or hearing—the school is required to provide appropriate accommodations and support so the student can fully participate in the educational environment.

At Blume Ed Consulting, we support families in obtaining Section 504 plans for their children. Whether your child is experiencing challenges related to ADHD, anxiety, or other mental health or medical needs, we help parents navigate the process and advocate for the accommodations and supports their child needs to be successful in school.
